The Monte Rei Golf & Country Club is a fantastic resort with exceptional cleanliness and a prime location close to Andalusia - Spain. The complimentary breakfast snacks - including freshly squeezed orange juice - delivered to our villa were a delightful touch. The service provided by the friendly staff was outstanding.

The hotel's decoration was absolutely gorgeous, with elegant furnishings and a touch of classic charm. The cozy sitting areas and beautifully landscaped gardens provided a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for senior people like me. The hotel was also very accessible for us, with ramps and elevators available throughout the property, making it easy to navigate.

I would have appreciated a bit more assistance from the staff when it came to catering to the needs of senior guests. Although the children working there were friendly, I would have liked to see more attention given to the specific requirements of older individuals, such as offering assistance with luggage or providing extra support when needed.

Monte Rei offers a spacious property with excellent pool facilities and a great poolside dining area. The air conditioning in the villas is top-notch and the kitchen is state-of-the-art. The location is perfect, with plenty of nearby activities and attractions within a 20-minute drive. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making the overall experience enjoyable. The Veranda Restaurant serves high-quality food, and the gym and pool are both impressive.

Greens on the golf course were weedy and fairways were patchy.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. Location was convenient with a nearby airport and great restaurants. The pool area was well maintained and provided a great place to relax after a busy day.

The prices were very high for everything, from food to golf to accommodations. It was difficult to find a good value for what was offered.

The villas were spacious and had a nice design, with beautiful views of the pool and lake. The beds were very comfortable and the pool was heated, which was a great bonus. The inclusive breakfast had a lot of options and the staff at the breakfast area provided the best service.

The smell of the washing liquid in the villas could be more neutral. It was a little off-putting.

Nothing not to like

This hotel is an exceptional luxury experience with lavish amenities and exclusive services that cater to every need. The staff is highly attentive, ensuring a seamless stay. The Spa & wellness centre offers top-notch massages, Turkish bath, and sauna that rejuvenates the mind, body and soul. The outdoor swimming pool is both heated and pristine with a sun terrace, sun loungers, and beach umbrellas. Moreover, the room advantages such as in-room breakfast, private facilities, and outdoor dining area were fulfilled beyond expectations.

The bar/lounge area had some minor service issues but didn't hinder the overall complete luxury experience that this hotel provides. The hotel's location is tranquil and serene, providing some much-needed respite from bustling city chaos, while nearby towns and castles offer a plethora of cultural and food experiences.

I recently spent a fantastic few days celebrating 10 years of playing golf in an incredible location with amazing views. The course was in perfect shape with manicured fairways and greens, never disappoints. The villa I stayed in was high quality with a fully equipped kitchen and beautiful garden area. The service was exceptional and I loved the attention to detail at the pro shop. the beach was a short drive away and definitely worth a visit.

The restaurant on site was overpriced and not up to par with the rest of the hotel.

Impossible not to mention the outstanding golf course, top of its class. The customer service was second to none, the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The villa was superb, spotlessly clean, and well-appointed with views to die for. The best part was that we did not have to worry about anything during our stay, as everything was taken care of.

It was unfortunate that the accommodation was located fairly close to other villas, so on occasion we were subject to late-night noise. In addition, the food was subpar, and not what we were expecting. It was not a deal breaker, but certainly could have been better. Nonetheless, we had an enjoyable stay in this lovely location.
